From a young age I have dedicated myself to art and creative expression. The recognition I received during gradeschool led me to continue taking art throughout high school. There, I received top marks for my efforts as well as winning several artistic contests that came my way during the five years I was there
Naturally, when it came time to pursue higher education, expanding my artistic knowledge was all I wanted to do. I was accepted into the University of Guelph, and under the guidance of several wonderful instructors, I discovered techniques and sources of inspiration that continue to influence my art.
Not long after graduating, I began to explore other avenues of creative expression. Jewellery making caught my interest as I was able to work with my hands, and all the things I learned about colour and composition from my art studies seemed to fall naturally into place. I see my jewellery as little pieces of everyday wearable art, and love experimenting with colour, shapes, and new materials.
It has been several years since I began this new adventure, and I find I'm learning something new all the time. I always look forward to turning new discoveries into something that will bring someone pride every time they wear it.
